Andersen Psychotherapy

I was born and raised in Charlottesville and left long enough to know that I wanted to come back. After completing a PhD in Clinical Psychology at the City University of New York I accepted a post-doctoral fellowship in Clinical Health Psychology at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, and ultimately joined the faculty in 2015. At UVA I provided individual therapy for patients with co-occuring medical and psychological concerns, which led to board certification in Clinical Health Psychology. I am thrilled to now have my own practice just steps from one of my very first jobs at the old Hardware Store restaurant on the Downton Mall. I live in Charlottesville with my husband, dog, and three cats.
